A beautiful contemporary dance examining in depth how the life-bouncing lily, a traditional symbol of chastity in Paiwan and Rukai Tribe, has tarnished over time to become a measure of perceived virtue.  'Gaze of the Kavaluan' emphasises a common issue that young indigenous people face in their tribal lives: the struggle between traditional values and the new lifestyles of the younger generation.
